WINGATE, N.C. The Carson-Newman mens soccer team is represented twice on the NSCAA NCAA Division II All-Southeast Region Team, region officials announced today. The NSCAA is the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Senior forward Omar Cooke (Roanoke, Va.) and junior defender Matt Finlay (Liverpool, ENGLAND) were named to the region first and third teams, respectively.

Aiken, S.C. - The USC Aiken Men's Soccer Team (4-3-0) didn't let the wet weather dampen their spirits as the Pacers defeated the visiting Eagles of Carson-Newman College (4-2-1) by a 4-3 margin Saturday night at Pacer Pit. The match went into a rain delay at the 85:15 mark, and after severe weather lingered in the area, the contest was called in favor of USCA.
